  4. The TrashCan is an object for storing any objects you want to delete, but with 
  5. the ability of recovering, like the trashcan in your kitchen. 
  6.  
  7. I created this WPS class, because I don't like the shredder originally provided 
  8. with the operating system. (It became dramatic after shredding some important 
  9. files... and the UNDELETE feature is ... !) 
  10.  
  11. Feel free to test my TrashCan with your shredder!

  75. Check the Use 'shredder' sound button to enable the sound defined for the 
  76. Shredder object for use with the  TrashCan. You may select another sound by 
  77. using the  Change Sound... button in this dialog or the  Sound object in the 
  78. System Setup folder.

  80. Note: MMPM/2 must be installed on your system, if you want to use sound 
  81. features.

  91. The Title field displays the current name of the TrashCan. This name is 
  92. displayed with the icon. Type in this field to change the title. 
  93.  
  94. Your new title can be displayed on one or more lines below the icon. Press the 
  95. Enter key as you type a new title to indicate the start of a new line. You can 
  96. use any characters, including spaces, except the backslash (\). 
  97.  
  98. You also can change the name of the object by typing a new name below the icon. 
  99.  
  100. Note: If you select Default , the title is removed and replaced with the 
  101. predifined name of the TrashCan.

  104. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 10. Help for Capacity ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  106. Select No limit to keep as much trash as possible in the TrashCan. 
  107.  
  108. Select Limited to to set a limit for the trash to keep in the TrashCan. If this 
  109. limit is reached, you have to empty the TrashCan or to shred one or more 
  110. objects before you can put new objects into it. The icon of the TrashCan will 
  111. change to that is defined for the "Full state". 
  112.  
  113. Use the spin button to select the capacity you want. It is possible to assign a 
  114. threshold from 1 MByte up to the whole capacity of the drive the TrashCan is 
  115. installed on. 
  116.  
  117. Note: A real limit is always set by the free space on the drive! 
  118.  
  119. If you select Auto delete on limit reach, the TrashCan will start to delete 
  120. automatically the oldest objects it contains, if the specified limit is 
  121. reached. So the TrashCan will never be "full". Objects are deleted, beginning 
  122. with the oldest one, until there is enough space for the new object(s) you want 
  123. to insert.

  128. Setting a checkmark on Empty trash on system startup will destroy all objects 
  129. in the TrashCan, everytime you restart your operating system.

  131. To prevent this, remove the checkmark.

  136. Setting a checkmark on Confirm on trashcan empty will show a prompting dialog 
  137. everytime you want to delete the contents of the TrashCan.

  139. To empty the TrashCan without any confirmation, remove the checkmark.

  144. Use the three radiobuttons in this field to switch the icon displayed in 
  145. Current icon. 
  146.  
  147. What are the three possible icons? 
  148.  
  149.  1. The Empty icon is used, if there are no objects in the TrashCan. 
  150.  2. The Not empty icon will be used, if there are any objects in the TrashCan. 
  151.  3. The Full icon you will see, if you selected a limited capacity in the 
  152.     Options notebook page and this limit is reached.

  157. The Current icon field shows, which pictures (icons) are used for the different 
  158. TrashCan states. To switch between the three possible icons use the Icons 
  159. radiobuttons field in this notebook page. To change the icons you can use the 
  160. push buttons to the right of the Current icon field. Or you can change the 
  161. icons by dragging and dropping any .ico file onto the icon in the Current icon 
  162. field.

  166. The new icon to set via drag'n drop must reside in an icon data file. This is 
  167. different from the original WPS objects!!!

  169. Initially the icons are determined by the TrashCan.

  174. Select Create another to use the Icon Editor to make a new icon for the 
  175. currently displayed state of the TrashCan.
